CHILDHOOD MEMORIES : INDEPENDENCE DAY

1. FLAG HOSTING

Flag hosting is the moment when we feel pride being an indian. It starts with flags pinned to our dresses and flags in hand. Waving them in happiness are the days we can never forget.

2.  2 Ladoos

Eating ladoos was personally my favourite part on independence day, entering the school with the smell of  those delicious ladoos used to make us think about them till the end of the school. And then leaving the school with that brownish packet having two ladoos.. YUMMM. Not more than 2minutes were to be taken to finish those. Miss those days.

3. School Parade

Left Right Left.. Left Right Left.. these words still  repeat in my mind, I'm sure it repeats in your mind too. Moving in queues, according to our houses. The parade practise used to get started before 10days of 15th August. Those days were magical.

4. POOJA OF DHARTI MAA

Dharti maa is the Hindu Goddess know as Mother Earth. She is the giver of all essential things needed to live a peaceful life. The things on independence day begin with the blessings of 'DHARTI MAA' or 'MOTHER EARTH'.
